There were so many dazzling ensembles that walked the red carpet last night, so I had a tough time picking just a few looks to round up for you. However, the ladies I chose just felt like they went a heel above the rest and delighted our eyes with show-stopping style. To start our best-dressed list, Jennifer Garner was stun-ning in this royal blue Versace gown. From the makeup to the minimal accessories, all eyes were on her and that beautiful gown. To me, she stole the show. That color was just beautiful, and you couldn’t help but to just stare, with your mouth open (or at least I did). She’s also one of those women whom you just want to root for and hope she does amazing after everything she went through with Ben (I know, I act like I know them. In my head, I do, lol). While I didn’t find an exact dupe, I did find some worthy contenders. The key was finding affordable options, and you’re in luck, because I looked out for you and your wallet, ladies! Okay, lady in red! Go on with your bad self, Allison! She wowed in a custom Reem Acra gown that hugged her in all the right places. From the color to the cut, she stood out from the crowd in this gorgeous one-of-a-kind stunner. She totally looked the part of an Oscar winner-I’m convinced the fashion gods arranged for her to get up on stage so that we could give that dress the spotlight it deserved. I think we all took a moment of silence to appreciate her gown. I’m a size 2…just saying…in case anyone wants to custom make a work of art for me 😉 Her dress was a little easier to find some worthy dupes. While none will give you that Reem Acra feel, these options will provide a flirty neckline, fierce details, and a formfitting silhouette that we all appreciated from Allison’s gown.
J-Law or J-FLAWLESS? Girlfriend was looking cool and confident in a gunmetal Dior gown that caught everyone’s eye. The column style, fitted silhouette was a winner for the beautiful actress, who frankly could wear a paper bag and wow us. Supposedly, the star’s choice in the Dior gown was a choice of symbolization. The sequins, which resembled chainmail to many, embodied women’s strength in the face of the longstanding gender inequality issues that are being illuminated around the country. You go, girl-beauty and outspoken confidence! While I couldn’t find the dupe of all dupes, I think we have some pretty good options that you’ll be able to fit in your budget without sacrificing the style and sass that J-law swaggered in the Oscars with.
