There’s nothing worse than a bad hair day! For some, we feel like we’ve had bad hair weeks, months, or decades. Ladies, I get it. Before I realized what was going on with me, I started noticing a lot more hair in the shower drain, more than your usual hair shedding. I started freaking out, crying thinking that I was going bald. This is no joke. I’ve had some requests from women combating hair loss and other women that just want to their hat game to be on par for this season. So, I decided to do a blog post combining all of those requests. I have 6 ways to aid your bad days/decades 😉 I’ve also linked any product mentioned at the end of this post, or click here for the other products that you can purchase on my Amazon Profile.

1. Hats: The obvious idea, I know. But, staying with the fall trends, I’ve showcased a few different hat styles that would be perfect to rock this fall. You’ve got your flat brim fedoras, floppier/relaxed brim fedoras, berets (I’m loving these), newsboy/fiddler/conductor (whatever you want to call them), and ball caps. You have something for all different occasions.

2. Volumizing mousse: I’m terrible with blowdrying my hair-well, also I can’t hold my arms up that long, and I have a lot of hair (long story short, my hair stopped falling out). I have a lot of volume, but I don’t have it up top. So, I use Amika’s mousse and it’s like I teased my hair. You can also tease a little to add even more Adele-like volume. You can even squeeze some in on your dry hair. Obviously teasing your hair will also add volume to create the illusion of thicker hair.

3. Dry Shampoo: And not just any dry shampoo, you need high-quality product. I literally can rock mannnny days old hair without anyone noticing the amount of oil that’s actually hiding there. You can also throw some dry shampoo in, then tease the roots= volume, yep you guys are catching on!

4. Hair Painting: For those losing hair or maybe you have patches that annoy you when you pull your hair up, then I have a solution for you. There are fill-in powders that you can use to blend into your hair and create the illusion of more hair (linked on Amazon profile). You can also use makeup to do this. If you have some patches when you pull your hair back, you can use eyeshadow/brow powder, etc. to fill in some areas.

5. Curly Hair: If your hair’s thinning, use a curling wand, maybe a smaller barrel so that the curl holds. Run your fingers through the curls to break them up and create a full look. You can also throw your hair into a low, messy updo and have some hanging curled pieces. You can do a lot with curls.

6. Throw that hair up, girl: Cover that oil, balding spot, whatever it is by styling your hair in maybe a pony tail, topknot, ballerina bun, braids/braided faux hawk, etc. Pinterest is the best for hairstyles and tutorials. This is the easiest way to hide top grease/thinning of hair, but if you’re worried about patchy sides, remember the fill-in powder!

Hopefully this helps you girls! I’ve certainly been utilizing these tricks, especially while being more immobile with my right arm. If you guys have more blog topic requests, please don’t hesitate to ask. Again, all products are shoppable below. As always, thanks for stopping by my closet, and I hope to see you guys next time 🙂

Sarah
